England Golf and Players 1st to exhibit at GCMA Conference

10.43am 19th November 2021 - Exhibitions & Conferences

England Golf and Players 1st are exhibiting for the first time at this year’s GCMA Conference, which is taking place at Wyboston Lakes Resort in Bedfordshire from November 21-23.

The GCMA Conference is the only major industry gathering in Europe devoted to golf club management, with this year’s programme of content focusing on the key subjects of leadership, wellbeing, sustainability and technology.

England Golf and Players 1st will be promoting the membership retention support that is available to affiliated clubs within the Membership: Give it a Shot campaign.
As the sport has enjoyed an increase in club memberships since re-opening following closures as a result of COVID, understanding what is important to these new members is vital. England Golf are supporting clubs through their partnership with Players 1st, providing free access to a suite of experience surveys available through their industry leading platform, as well as additional retention support opportunities for clubs.

By understanding the specific experiences of new members, current members and former members, clubs are able to make appropriate changes and take action base on customer feedback specific to their club. Clubs will also benefit from the national and regional benchmarking capabilities within the platform, whilst being able to add additional custom questions specific to their club, facilities and business.

Matt Draper, Gavin Anderson and Victoria Crosbie-Cowley from England Golf will be in attendance across the three-day event, joined by Amelia Lewis and Morten Bisgaard from Players 1st. Victoria and Amelia will also be supporting the GCMA in their ‘Women in Golf’ breakout session on Monday morning.
