Visitors from around the world will be gathering in Harrogate, England, this January, for Harrogate Week 2009, the premier fine turf exhibition and education programme in Europe, looking for inspiration, innovation and motivation.

Harrogate Week 2009, combines both elements of turf and clubhouse management, and has become a truly international event with 357 visitors travelling from 30 overseas countries as far afield as Australia, South Africa, the USA and Japan.

Harrogate Week’s diversity is growing and visitors from all areas of the sportsturf industry – as well as from farms & estates, local authorities and theme parks – will attend the three day exhibition and the five day world-renowned ‘Continue to Learn’ education programme.

With 5,500 buyers and over 150 exhibitors attending every year. Harrogate Week’s strong brand provides a platform to build relationships between exhibitors and visitors.

“Harrogate Week has become the premier event of its kind in Europe and we are proud to be able to offer the ideal opportunity for delegates and exhibitors to meet for mutual benefit. Our Education programme “Continue to Learn” is also a great attraction for turf professionals and with so many ‘Free’ seminars a great deal of knowledge can be accumulated without eating into much stretched budgets,” said BIGGA Chief Executive, John Pemberton.
