The BGIA, the lead trade body representing UK manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors of golf products and services, has teamed up with DIT (Department for International Trade previously UKTI) to offer grants of £2,000 to help UK Small and Medium size enterprises to exhibit at the PGA Merchandise Show.
This gives companies the chance to sell their products, share ideas and meet like-minded individuals. There are still grants available, but they are disappearing fast and companies are urged to act swiftly to avoid disappointment.
The PGA Merchandise Show will take place from 25th – 27th January 2017 in Orlando, Florida. It provides a ‘snapshot’ of the entire golf industry and those that take part offer products and services that pertain to every aspect of the game. The Show is heralded as golf’s annual focal point for new product introductions, professional development programs, networking and business facilitating meetings.
The BGIA will be in attendance and will be hosting a drinks reception. Companies interested in obtaining a grant should contact ciara@sportsamdplay.com for further information. DIT grants are provided on a first come first served basis.
