Countdown to 14th Asia Pacific Golf Summit

Registration for the 14th Asia Pacific Golf Summit, which is being held at the Hoiana Resort and Golf in Vietnam from November 1-3, 2022, is now open.

The threes-day event is the biggest of its kind to be staged in the Asia Pacific region, with more than 20 world-renowned industry speakers set to appear on the conference programme.

The theme for APGS 2022 is ‘Dynamic New Vistas’, which marks the resurgence of golf after the global pandemic.

Among the headline speakers this year include two titans of the golf equipment business in David Abeles, president and CEO of TaylorMade Golf, and Tim Clarke, president and CEO of Wilson Golf; while Jason Straka, president of Fry/Straka Global Golf Course Design, will be also be delivering a keynote speach on current and future golf course design issues.

A section of the conference will focus on golf course agronomy, with David Doguet, chairman of the world’s largest turf farm, Bladerunner Turf Farms, providing an insight into the best new turf hybrids. This will run alongside an agronomy trade exhibition, where delegates can discover more about the best hardware, fertiliser and pesticide products and services in the business.

The summit will end on November 3 with the staging of the 21st Asian Golf Awards, where the winners in more than 30 award categories will be honoured with special awards recognising their quality and standing in the golf industry.
