GolfBIC 2019’s already impressive seminar and speaker programme has been boosted following the announcement that respected motivational consultant Marcus Childs is to deliver one of the keynote speeches.
The Golf Business & Industry Convention, which is jointly organised by the Organisation of Golf and Range Operators and the UK Golf Federation, is being held at Forest of Arden Golf Resort (pictured top) in Warwickshire on March 18. It boasts a packed day of key golf industry presentations, exhibits and show events, followed by an evening gala dinner.
Childs has an impressive reputation for helping thousands of members of hundreds of organisations to successfully embrace change, and has worked with a wide range of companies and management teams, as well as athletes and politicians, to realise bold and extraordinary goals.
He joins an impressive seminar that already includes Linda Moir, who will be speaking about the culture of a customer-focused organisation and how change can be implemented to the benefit of the business and individual employees, while Duncan Weir, Executive Director of Golf Development at the R&A, will be providing an update on its recently published ‘Playbook’, which sets out the governing body’s vision, purpose and values.
