Campey Sales Director Simon Gumbrill will be delivering a talk at BTME 2015 in Harrogate on the changing techniques for fine turf maintenance across Europe.
The seminar to be held on Tuesday 20 January at 2.15pm will look at how new methods of turf management have rapidly developed in European football stadiums and training centres. And how world renowned clubs such as Real Madrid have perfected environmentally friendly and efficient techniques to remove unwanted thatch and rogue grasses.
Simon will be discussing how you can adapt these methods to make real changes to your Golf Course in order to promote your preferred grass species.
Some of the current practices implemented by international Groundsmen have also encouraged a greater refinement in the way they manage turf. This has proven to have a benefit to the golf course environment which requires greater finesse and aesthetic awareness.
Campey Turf Care Systems will be exhibiting many of the machines used to achieve the results as described by Simon in his talk. The Koro Field TopMaker with Universe® rotors will feature heavily. As will the Air2G2 which has had a fantastic response from users in its first year in the UK.
The new VGR Topchanger offers an alternative approach using the power of water to de-compact the soil and create an excellent, healthy environment for grass roots to thrive.
Other products on display will cover all aspects of natural turf maintenance including the Dakota 410 in special edition livery, Vredo Super Compact seeder, Imants SandCat and the Imants ShockWave 155.
