Asia’s first-ever edition of a brand new high-level event that will provide structured one-to-one business meetings, as well as professional education, networking and hands-on demonstrations for golf industry trade professionals will take place this Autumn in South China.
From 29 to 31 October in Shenzhen, the Asia Golf Congress (“the Congress”) will attract participants from within China and around Asia to access a series of highly interactive and educational content, including the Turf Science Academy, outdoor displays and pre-arranged one-on-one business meetings. These will be complemented by an invigorating series of high level networking opportunities with investors, property developers, golf course managers, superintendents, designers, architects and equipment suppliers.
Organized by Reed Guanghe Exhibitions, organiser of the biggest Asian Golf Event — the China Golf – PGA Merchandise Show and the China Golf Industry Expo, the Asia Golf Congress is a game-changing new trade meeting designed by the industry – for the industry. It is the only event fully endorsed by leading associations in the golf industry, including the CGA, the GCSAA, the GCBAA, the ASGCA, the R&A and the AGIF. With a razor-sharp focus on value, the organizers have created a highly appealing menu of activities for the Congress that features education, highly business-inductive meetings, networking, product presentations and live demonstrations.
The one2one business meetings are private meetings between buyers and suppliers. Buyers in this program will have been identified through a collaborative process between Reed Guanghe’s own research team under the guidance of an advisory panel. These unique one2one business matchmaking activities feature confirmed meetings with targeted, pre-vetted buyers. Participants will be able to make the most of their time on-site and maximize business opportunities in these face-to-face interactions with top decision makers and influencers of the golf industry.
Renowned industry professionals will also be at the Congress to present the most up-to-date and creative solutions for the emerging Asian golf industry and golf markets. Four diverse tracks will optimize learning opportunities and provide practical, meaningful advice by exploring the exigencies and opportunities within golf course design & construction; golf real estate supply & business conditions; golf lifestyle & attracting future generations; and golf course management & operations.
The Turf Science Academy will be a cost-effective, practical way to take in a number of quick, hands-on tutorials and product demos. Enthusiastic participants will be able to watch and join in as experts demonstrate the use of new innovations, products and golfing best practice.
Reed Guanghe is also proud to announce that the Asian Golf Industry Federation (AGIF) has joined the ranks of the CGA, the GCSAA, the GCBAA, the ASGCA and the R&A as supporters of the Asia Golf Congress. The AGIF is a not-for-profit organization formed in 2009 to develop and lead the growth of the Asian golf industry. Its members include golf course and club suppliers and professional support services, and golf course architects, golf real estate firms and development companies.
