All routes lead to Rome for next week’s IGTM

Next week’s International Golf Travel Market in Rome is set to be the biggest ever gathering at the annual event, with the iconic La Nuvola convention centre scheduled to host a record-breaking number of golf travel industry professionals across the three days from October 18-20.

IGTM is a truly global event with exhibiting brands and destinations from across the world in attendance, with 450 exhibiting brands represented from five continents and 60 new qualified tour operators.

IGTM 2022 tees off with a game of golf for delegates on Monday, October 17 at one of four courses in the Rome area – Olgiata Golf Club, Golf Nazionale, Parco de’ Medici and Marco Simone Golf & Country Club, venue for next year’s Ryder Cup.

After golf on Monday, delegates and exhibitors will gather in the evening for the traditional pre-event welcome reception being held at Palazzo Brancaccio & Spacio Field.

The exhibition itself begins on Tuesday and is offering delegates up to 50 appointment spaces over the three days, with an online booking platform enabling tour operators, resorts, tourist boards and clubs to connect in pre-arranged timed slots. A speed networking event is back by popular demand will also take place on Wednesday afternoon, while two evening networking events are also taking place in Rome.

Golf courses/resorts attending include Heritage Resorts (Mauritius), Pebble Beach Golf Links (USA), Ciela Resort & Spa (Zambia), Aquella Golf & Country Club (Thailand) and Carnoustie Golf Links (Scotland).

Tourism boards attend to support the multiple products from their country/region, including Andalucia Tourism, South African Tourism, Tourism Ireland and Los Cabos Tourism. Other international golf brands attending with their members and partners include European Tour Destinations, The PGA, IMG Prestige and Troon International.
