Manchester’s Worsley Park, A Marriott Hotel & Country Club, this month announced the investment of over £175,000 to continue the improvement of its already well respected championship golf course over the coming 12 months.

This news comes following two previous years of heavy investment totalling over £160,000 which has seen the venue continually evolve the course into what is widely regarded as one of the best in the region.

Director of golf at Worsley Park, Adam Moule said: “We are really proud of what we have achieved at WorsleyPark and have created a course that has both challenge and interest to keep any avid golfer hooked and want to return.

“The investment that’s planned for 2013 – 2014 will not only go towards improving green drainage works and general course upgrades, but will also be invested in off course machinery to reaffirm our status as one of the UK’s top golfing venues.”

All of the facilities at WorsleyPark are nestled amongst an idyllic leafy setting, just seconds away from direct transport links into Manchester and the surrounding area.

Awarded the best property for service within the Marriott hotel group for 5 years running and sporting nine meeting and conference rooms, 158 hotel bed rooms, a restaurant, extensive leisure facilities, health & beauty and a championship golf course – WorsleyPark is a haven for both business and pleasure.
