To increase the versatility of the machinery in their fleet, Awbrey Glen Golf Club in Oregon invested in a range of ATT SMART Cassettes, supplied by CS Trading. Awbrey boasts a challenging 18-hole championship course, designed by Bunny Mason and is enhanced further by a Golf Learning Centre featuring a double-ended driving range and Central Oregon’s only 5-hole par 3 course.

Superintendent Doug Feher owns a range of cassettes – SMARTThatchMaster, SMARTUltraGroomer, SMARTRazorCutter, SMARTScarifier, SMARTSarel and SMARTSpiker – to allow his team to conduct a variety of maintenance tasks including aeration, verticutting and thatch removal.

“The SMART cassettes from ATT give us numerous options, easily and quickly. We can be as aggressive as we need to be” comments Doug. “The products are very easy to use, easy to adjust and the cassettes are quick to change.”

Equipment Manager RJ Schopmann was also upbeat, “The versatility and options the TMSystem™ cassettes give us to improve our greens speed, smoothness and health are incredible!  A truly multi-functional piece of equipment, they have saved us time, resources and money.”

Since its inception 10 years ago, the TMSystem™ has increased its cassette offering, whilst keeping pace with triplex mower manufacturers upgrades. The TMSystem™ is unique and by using the appropriate chassis adaptor kit, is fully compatible with all main-stream makes of triplex greens mowers and lightweight fairway mowers, like John Deere, Jacobsen and Toro.  The chassis can also be interchanged with ATT’s own 22″ INFiNiSystem™.  Awbrey Glen invested in the necessary adaptation kit to convert from a previous triplex unit over to their new Toro 3320 in February this year.
