iBS logoIBS announced that St Andrews Links, the Home of Golf, located in St Andrews, Scotland has upgraded to the latest version of IBS’s software, version 7.89. IBS software connects all facets of a golf club from a software perspective in order to run consistent, seamless operations.

“Our team of developers have been working diligently to support the complexity of operations at St Andrews Links Trust, the biggest golf complex in Europe,” said Anthony Strange, Founder and CEO of IBS. “The recent implementation of version 7.89 highlighted key features including tee time itineraries and packages, prepaid reservations, cart tracking, custom tee sheet blocks and restrictions, customer member statuses, and membership purchase at the point of sale.”

“Golf complexes, especially multi-course facilities such as ours, can benefit from using the IBS solution for many reasons, not least when it comes to tee time itineraries and packaging options,” said John Grant, Director of Golf at St Andrews Links Trust. “This upgrade has helped us provide a user-friendly format for staff to help our customers in the best way possible.”

St Andrews Links Trust, which manages and maintains the seven courses at the Links- including the Old Course, will host The Open Championship in 2015. The facility also operates three clubhouses, a golf academy and five shops.
