Scottish Golf launches exclusive winter tee times offers for local players

3.25pm 12th October 2020 - Course Development

Scottish Golf has announced that members of Scottish Golf affiliated clubs are once again being given the opportunity to play some of the country’s most famous championship venues at preferential green fee rates.

With support from Muirfield, Prestwick, Royal Troon and Castle Stuart, proceeds from all tee-off time sales will go towards the development of junior golf in Scotland.

Due to the popularity of these offers, a ballot system will be in operation, to make sure that all eligible golfers are in with a chance of enjoying taking advantage of the scheme. Golfers are required to register via the relevant online forms before 5pm on October 23.

Golfers can only register one application per course, with the option of selecting multiple dates, giving them the best chance of success in the ballot. Successful applicants will receive their booking confirmation by October 27 after which payment will be required online.

The courses included in the programme are:
MUIRFIELD: £300 for a four-ball on Tuesdays and Thursdays between November 1 – March 31. To enter the ballot, click here.
PRESTWICK: £280 per four-ball. Every Monday between November 1 – March 31. To enter the ballot, click here.
ROYAL TROON:  £300 per four-ball on the first Tuesday of the month between November 1 and March 31. To enter the ballot, click here.
CASTLE STUART GOLF LINKS: Discounted green fees between November 4th-12th, before the course closes for winter. To enter the ballot, click here.
