Redbourn Golf Club in Hertfordshire opened in 1971. The two courses offer stunning views of the Hertfordshire countryside and the surrounding area. Redbourn also has a 20 bay floodlit driving range with 16 Power Tees®, a well-stocked golf shop and a great clubhouse.
The 20-bay driving range is covered, carpeted and floodlit, offering high quality golf balls, the latest Power Tee® automated teeing systems and a range of targets. It is now regarded as the best practice facility in the area.
Power Tee® have been at Redbourn Golf Club since September 2015. We caught up with Ian McDowell, the General Manager, to talk about Power Tee® and what it has brought to his facility since the installation last year.
What are the key benefits of having Power Tee®?
“Having Power Tee® has improved our customers experience on the range, they are easy to use and look great. Since the introduction of Power Tee® we have seen the range attract a higher volume of footfall, including more casual and young golfers.”

What has been the impact on your business since installing Power Tee®?
“We have had a huge uplift in the amount of balls hit on the range, in fact we are consistently25% – 30% up on pre -Power Tee® numbers, which is amazing considering we already hit a fair few.
“All revenues have gone up due to an increase in footfall to our facility, we are a lot busier now, and we are enjoying attracting customers from a wider area.”
