N1Golf’s Morpeth Family Golf Centre near Newcastle is upgrading its driving range experience with the installation of Inrange ball-tracking technology.

The decision to install Inrange comes after the success and growth of existing Inrange-powered N1Golf sites at Greenwich Peninsula Driving Range in London and Riverside Family Golf Centre in Nottingham.

N1Golf’s owner Declan Malone said: “We’ve seen impressive growth at both of our other sites that already have Inrange in action, so it was the logical next step to make it available at our Morpeth site. At a venue designed for players of all ability and experience levels, the Inrange technology completes the family-oriented offering we’ve built through our existing golf course, driving range, Adventure Golf and on-site food and beverage options. Inrange elevates the range experience for customers of every level, making our sites more attractive for all.”

From August, Inrange tracking will be available in all 23 bays across the range, giving users the choice of three different ways to use the system. The Inrange practice product will be available to practicing golfers on in-bay touchscreen monitors and an app while the Inrange+ games and virtual courses will make it possible for multiplayer groups of up to four players per bay to compete against each other in a series of interactive games and virtual golf courses from around the world.

Inrange co-founder, Nick Longley, said: “We’re thoroughly looking forward to continuing to work with Declan and the N1Golf team to enhance the experience for players in the North East.”
