Montgomerie Maxx Royal to Host Inaugural Turkish Open

The Montgomerie Maxx Royal, Antalya, Turkey: The Turkish Open that will be staged from 7th – 10th November 2013 will be a week of many firsts.

Not only will it be the first ever European Tour event to be held in Turkey and one of four tournaments that make up the inaugural four Final Series of the European Tour’s Race to Dubai series, it will also be the first-ever professional golf event to be hosted at the award-winning Montgomerie Maxx Royal.

The course, located on Turkey’s stunning Mediterranean coastline, in the renowned golfing region of Belek has been designed by its namesake, Ryder Cup legend and 2010 European Team Captain, Colin Montgomerie. Blessed with stunning views of the surrounding Taurus Mountains the par 72 Championship course will welcome the leading golfers from the Race to Dubai order of merit, all competing for the final spots at the season ending Dubai World Championship.

Measuring over 7,093 yards, with undulating fairways and manicured greens the course requires strategic and accurate play.
