Golf Park Lhotka: a third project in Czech Republic for Create Golf

1.40pm 21st August 2017 - Course Development

English golf architect Jonathan Davison is about to start construction on a new par 3 course at Golf Park Lhotka close to the city of Ostrava, Czech Republic. It is Jonathan’s third project in the Czech Republic having worked on Prague City Golf Club with English architect Jeremy Ford and also designed an 18-hole golfcourse at Tosovice Golf Resort in Odry.

The new par 3 course will be the second phase of construction at Golf Park Lhotka, having already established a family orientated clubhouse, driving range, short game area and a putting course during phase one.

Jonathan Davison said, “It’s a great little resort and the short course will help people understand and learn the game. The resort is exactly the type of facility which is needed in the Czech Rep and the neighbouring countries to help introduce people to the game and I am extremely proud to be involved.”

Work is due to start this month (August 2017) with an opening expected in the summer of 2018.
