GNK Golf Enters Long-Term Partnership with Concor Golf

5.55pm 31st December 2021 - Course Development

GNK Golf has entered a long-term business partnership with Luxembourg-based Concor Golf to start a new phase in the evolution of its four Nicklaus championship courses in southeast Spain.

The partnership’s aim is to elevate course conditions and update the operations to achieve a more relevant experience for members, residents and visiting golfers.

“GNK Golf has such a large audience at the four courses who interact with and enjoy the facilities on a regular basis,” said Jon Schauder, Managing Director of Concor Golf, “we want to refresh their experiences for the long term and provide them what is at the heart of GNK Golf – a smooth operation so they can get out and enjoy four phenomenal golf courses in the year-round Spanish sunshine.”

With an official start date of January 1st, the partnership has already begun updating back-of-house functions utilising Concor Golf’s business intelligence platform, with the data analytics having produced new 2022 membership plans and simplified pricing structures for flexibility and enhanced booking capabilities. Membership and resident offerings have also been designed according to blockchain frameworks so premium product categories involving non-fungible tokens (NFT’s) are possibilities for membership and residential ownership.

“The entire team at GNK Golf is very excited to announce this partnership” said Enrique Herrero, Director General, GNK Golf.  “What Jon Schauder and Concor Golf bring to the business will enable us to utilise the best resources and alliances to take our facilities to a higher standard of quality and efficiency of operation.  Their professionalism to create a mutually-aligned structure made for a valuable proposition.”

Jon Schauder added, “GNK Golf occupies a unique position in the Europe market with its cluster portfolio of championship golf courses.  We thank the shareholders and staff for the opportunity to bring our progressive approach and expertise to the business and its future, there is so much potential we are looking forward to introducing new perspectives and fine tuning the business for success, together.”

The Jack Nicklaus Signature and Jack Nicklaus Design courses offer tournament calibre layouts and a variety of different playing options and accommodation packages

Throughout 2022, Concor Golf will add in supporting structures and resources with strategic alliances to revamp the commercial proposition, enhance engagement with the business and revisit environmental practices. The company is currently providing services to facilities in Europe, South America and Africa. Additional announcements and initiatives are forthcoming.
