Sandford Springs announce that TV sports presenter Dickie Davies will support the launch of its luxury four-star hotel this month.

The former World of Sport star will attend opening events at the new contemporary 40-bedroom hotel set in the grounds of the golf club.

There are three open days planned at the friendly, family-run hotel and golf club. The first will run from 10am to 4pm on Sunday 6th October. On Tuesday 8th and Wednesday 9th October from 4pm, visitors can join the Sandford Springs team any time up to 7pm for a relaxed glass of fizz and canapés while they tour the facilities at their own leisure.

At a 7.30am breakfast meeting on Thursday 10th October, TV sports presenter Dickie Davies will interview Paul Gibbons, entrepreneur and owner of Sandford Springs and Leaderboard Golf. Spaces for this event are limited, but can be booked by calling Duncan Marshall on 01635 296800.

Designed with both the corporate and leisure break market in mind, the hotel boasts a modern look and feel with large windows overlooking the 11th green and 12th tee of the golf course. Rooms feature two different styles and come inclusive of a full English or continental breakfast served in the Hotel’s own restaurant. Evening meals are served in the recently refurbished clubhouse restaurant that boasts panoramic views of the countryside.

Situated between Basingstoke and Newbury on the A339, Sandford Springs is easily accessed via the M3, M4 and local business parks.
