Mike Keiser has announced that David Kidd of DMK Golf Design has been selected to design the second course at Sand Valley Golf Resort in Central Wisconsin. Kidd’s course, which will break ground in Spring 2015 and be open for play in Summer 2018, will accompany the Coore & Crenshaw design that is well underway and will open in Summer 2017.

This will be the first time Keiser and Kidd have worked together since they opened Bandon Dunes in 1999.

“David identified perhaps the most interesting part of our site and has routed the golfer through it in a very exciting way,” said Keiser. “I truly am looking forward to working with him again.”

Sand Valley Golf Resort is being managed by Kemper Sports, a family-owned business with over 5,500 employees. Kemper Sports is based in Northbrook, Illinois. A short interview with David Kidd about this project can be viewed on The Golf Channel.
