The exclusive event, hosted by 1973 Open Champion and acclaimed golf course designer Tom Weiskopf, will welcome club members and invited guests to a weekend of world class golf, wine and hospitality at Italy’s only fully private golf club.

David Waters, the club’s general manager, said: “The Weiskopf Invitational is a unique and rare experience, and one at which our members and invited Guests will be treated to the very best Castiglion del Bosco has to offer. Tom is an iconic figure in world golf, both as a Major winning tournament professional and one of the greatest golf course designers of modern times, so it will be an honor to welcome him back to share a special weekend in Tuscany.”

Castiglion del Bosco offers members privileged access to the estate’s on-site winery, which produces high quality Brunello di Montalcino wines. They also enjoy exclusive golf events and wine dinners in Tuscany and at prestigious private clubs around the world.

Massimo Ferragamo, founder of The Club at Castiglion del Bosco, who will join members and guests to host the gala dinner, said: “It was a privilege to work with Tom as our course designer, and so we are honoured both he and his wife Laurie will once again join us again for the Weiskopf Invitational.  At last year’s inaugural event, Tom was immensely generous in spending time with members and guests, and I know how much they enjoyed his company and conversation, on and off the course, as well as his eloquent after-dinner talk and insights on his career in professional golf and course design.”
