It’s full steam ahead at Cambridge Country Club as the luxury development edges ever closer to its official opening date, 1st September. Its continued commitment to pushing ahead with the development of its multi-million pound complex, despite the challenges caused by the pandemic has not gone unnoticed, in fact, the club has just been awarded the Prestige Award for ‘Country Club of the Year’.

The Cambridgeshire edition of the Prestige Awards has commended the luxury development at the Cambridge Country Club for their ongoing efforts throughout the pandemic. Noting the luxury, health and wellness elements they have to offer guests, what this will bring to the local area and their continued plans for expansion.

Many are eagerly awaiting the opening of the new multi-million pound leisure complex and the opportunity to experience a unique 5* experience, never before experienced in the area.

The 18-month renovation project includes a 40,000 sq foot complex with an opulent wellness centre complete with a state-of-the-art gym, luxury spa facilities, stylish new bar and restaurant, fully equipped conference rooms and beautiful function rooms complete with panoramic views overlooking the superb 18-hole par 72 Championship parkland golf course.

The Club plans to expand further after opening by introducing luxury lodges to the site in the coming months. These will provide exceptionally styled accommodation allowing guests to stay at the resort and will compliment golf and spa retreats, as well as weddings and special events.

The Club’s Head of Sales and Marketing Fiona Sterne said, “The development is progressing very well and we are drawing ever closer to being able to welcome our guests to the Club. We are extremely proud to not only be bringing a brand new luxury experience to Cambridge, but also to be providing jobs to local residents and boosting tourism in the area. We are honoured that the Prestige Awards have recognised our dedication and commitment to continuing building our luxury complex, despite the challenges of the pandemic.”

The Cambridge Country Club is now accepting bookings for all events, including weddings. Health & Wellness memberships are also now available. For more information visit
