Both the Swedish Golf Federation and English Golf Union set for another winter season of elite training at Arcos Gardens as it continues to be the official winter training base for their 2011/12 season.

Situated in the rolling hills of the Cadiz country side of southern Spain, 25 minutes from Jerez airport and just 5km from the old white town of Arcos de la Frontera, the Arcos Gardens Golf Club & Country Estate boasts a magnificent 18 hole championship golf course listed in the top 100 European courses by Golf World, a host of different accommodation options including the possibility to rent luxury 5 bedroom villas and modern club house with day spa and opening in July a sports area with tennis.

A double ended driving range, a short iron target range, 2 bent grass chipping greens, a bermuda grass green and large bent grass putting green make up the extensive practice facilities all supplied for elite players with titleist NXT and pro V1 balls which altogether is a major attraction for many federations and elite players.

The Director of Hotel & Golf, Ashley Northridge, a PGA golf professional since 1988 and has been at Arcos since its construction in 2005, explains “our relationship with the Swedish Federation stretches back now since we opened and three years with English Golf Union. It is a real pleasure to have such professional organisations and elite players around at Arcos Gardens”

Stay, Practice & Play Packages are available for Pros with a PGA card and Challenge Tour or better ranked players as well as Pros with groups.
