Your Golf Travel.com has had its achievements officially recognised with a 15th-placed ranking in The Sunday Times Virgin 2009 Fast Track Top 100 guide.

The Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 league table ranks Britain’s 100 fastest-growing private companies, based on sales growth over three years and is compiled and published each December.

A typical Fast Track 100 company is owned and run by entrepreneurs, has between 50 and 250 staff, with sales between £5m and £500m and average sales growth ranging between 50 per cent and 400 per cent pa.

The performance of Your Golf Travel.com since its inception in 2005 is remarkable. Its lofty position in the guide is due to sales at the London-based company growing from an annualised £541,000 in 2005 to £7.4m in 2008.

Founders Ross Marshall and Andrew Harding ‘maxed out their credit cards’ to fund the start-up of the company in 2005 and today the business offers package trips to 3,000 courses in 26 countries and books more than 120,000 holidays each year.

Your Golf Travel.com is proud of the fact that it is the 2009 Fast Track 100’s highest-ranked travel company and the only featured business from within the golf sector. Managing director Andrew Harding said: “”We are absolutely delighted to be recognised by The Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 for our achievements. Being named the fastest growing travel company in the UK is a great honour and we look forward to continuing to grow the business in 2010.” www.yourgolftravel.com
