Heritage Living Group has announced the launch of a new division, Heritage Sports, focused on the design and construction of purpose-built golf simulator facilities and luxury lodge accommodation for golf clubs and commercial venues across the UK.

The new division has been created in response to increasing demand from golf clubs seeking to generate additional revenue streams and improve year-round member engagement.

Heritage Sports specialises in delivering fully insulated, SIPS-built structures designed specifically to house golf simulator technology, alongside high-quality lodge accommodation aimed at supporting the growing stay-and-play market.

Sarah Barlow of Heritage Living Group commented: “We’re seeing a clear shift in how golf clubs are thinking about their facilities. It’s no longer just about the course—clubs are looking for ways to generate income throughout the year and create a more complete experience for members and visitors.

Simulator facilities and lodges are becoming an important part of that, particularly as clubs look to make better use of their sites during the quieter months.”

Unlike retrofitted indoor spaces, Heritage Sports’ buildings are designed from the ground up to optimise simulator performance, incorporating appropriate ceiling heights, lighting conditions and acoustic control, alongside energy-efficient construction using Structural Insulated Panels (SIPS).

The company is targeting private members clubs, golf resorts and commercial venues, offering a turnkey solution from initial design through to installation.

Barlow added:  “Our focus is on helping clubs create facilities that are not only high quality, but commercially viable. These projects are increasingly being viewed as long-term investments rather than optional upgrades.”
