“We are very excited about the agreement,” said Brian Swinden, national accounts sales manager at Yamaha. “A number of premier sites have already shown interest in the ProShot system and we are convinced that other sites will be interested when they see how the system can improve their golf car management. It also gives us other options with regard to the type of contracts we can offer”.
“Like Yamaha we are market leaders in our field and we believe this agreement will give us a great opportunity to establish the ProShot system in the UK very quickly,” said Colin Surman, director at ProShot.
Yamaha will display a working demonstration system on the stand 1630 at GolfExpo 2000 at the NEC from 2nd-5th November. Visitors will be able to view a working system of Montecastillo in Spain, home of the Volvo Masters, fitted to the Yamaha Ultima G19E electric golf car.
