VPAR Wins Best Sports App at Sports Technology Awards

VPAR Sports Technology AwardsFriday 4th April saw the winners of the Sports Technology Awards announced in central London. VPAR was selected as the Best Sports App by some of sport’s elite including: Sir Clive Woodward, Olympic gold medallist Tessa Sanderson, international referee Graham Poll as well as representatives from Twitter, ESPN, The Times and The Telegraph. VPAR fought off major sports brands including Chelsea Football Club, O2 and The All England Lawn Tennis Club.

Jason Stoop, Managing Director of VPAR said, “We are thrilled to be recognised as the best sports app by such an esteemed group of people in the sports industry. It has been a long journey in creating the ultimate golf app, we wanted to ensure we were providing every golfer with all of the essential features that they require. User response has been incredible and downloads are growing exponentially. Winning this award is a great step forward towards achieving our vision of changing the way amateur golf is played.”
