The innovative real-time scoring service provided by VPAR Live Golf Scoringis now available to golf event organisers and players at four of Ireland’s very finest golf resorts.

The K Club, Carton House, Druids Glen Resort and Powerscourt Golf Club have signed exclusive partnerships with Ireland’s VPAR team, ensuring live scoring will play a great part in the future of golf events at each venue.

For the first time club members and visitors alike will have the power to decide their next move in their hand.  Unique handheld scorepads record every swing and stroke enabling each player to track their progress, check out the competition and see what’s happening elsewhere on the course as the game unfolds.

“VPAR is extremely proud to have been selected to work with such esteemed partners,” said Rob Hill of VPAR Ireland. “Our new resort partners have over the years hosted prestigious professional golf tournaments including the 2006 Ryder Cup, the Seve Trophy, eleven European Opens, six Irish Opens and two PGA Championships. Now VPAR will offer golfers in amateur events the same opportunity to experience the thrill of professional live leaderboards as they walk in the footsteps of the greatest players in the world.”

VPAR’s live system additionally relays all the action to special interactive touchscreen event pods, to club television screens and live online to mobiles and PC’s. This means golfers and spectators everywhere can follow every shot as it happens, heightening the excitement and enjoyment for competitors and organisers alike.
