Volvik Announces Hiring of Golf Industry Vet Jack Dillon

“The hiring of Jack Dillon is an important step for Volvik’s growth in the US market,” said Volvik USA President Don Shin. “Jack brings 30 years of experience as a golf industry buyer and experience in every sector of the golf business. We look forward to Jack helping us find exciting new business opportunities in the golf management sector, corporate business and anywhere that a solid partnership exists with ultra-high performance colour golf balls.”

Dillon has been continuously in the golf industry since 1973. He began as an Assistant Professional and worked under a Class A PGA Professional for seven years. He became interested in merchandising and developed into a golf buyer, purchasing for several organizations over 30 years. He also held the position of Vice-President with three unique golf organizations.

“My goals include helping the game grow for the long term, building a better golf experience for women, working to create more fun for every golfer and helping Volvik achieve its short and long term goals,” said Dillon.

Volvik USA opened up its headquarters in Orlando, Fla. in January 2013 and hired golf industry stalwart Jon Claffey to run sales and marketing. Claffey is a 12-year golf industry sales and marketing specialist who led startups Sonartec, Nickent and SuperStroke to exponential growth and increased brand awareness and visibility. Since Volvik USA launched, Volvik has grown to a 1000-door account base and has announced itself as the new global brand in the golf ball category. Since 2012, over 70 professionals using Volvik’s ultra-high performance color golf balls have earned over $5 million on the PGA TOUR, LPGA Tour, Champions Tour, Web.com Tour, Ladies European Tour, LAGT and Symetra Tour with 10 victories and 63 Top 10 finishes.
