Viva Glenmuir!

10.35am 13th July 2010 - Corporate

Leading golf apparel brand, Glenmuir, has staged its largest ever photoshoot in readiness for the launch of its stunning Spring/Summer 2011 Collection.

A creative team from the Lanark, Scotland-based company was on location for 10 days at the superb Emporda Golf and Country Club, Catalunya, Spain, where they took more than 3,000 photographs for the new Glenmuir brochure – which will be distributed to customers throughout the world.

The team shot a combination of more than 100 different men’s and ladies’ outfits and took advantage of the wonderful locations in the area around Emporda, on the Costa Brava – including the secluded beach in Pals, the picturesque harbour in Fornells and the medieval stone village of Peratallada.

The fantastic golf complex at Emporda, which hosts the first course in Spain to be designed by renowned golf course architect Robert von Hagge, also features prominently in the photoshoot.

“Not only is Emporda Golf and Country Club wonderful in its own right, the wider area around the coast and inland is beautiful and our new range of Spring and Summer clothing looked fantastic in this superb location,” says Glenmuir marketing director, Brian Mair.

“We were made to feel very welcome and we’re very excited about the end result – the new brochure will really showcase our collection and demonstrate that Glenmuir is a brand that can be worn comfortably both on and off the golf course.”

Glenmuir will initially distribute 10,000 copies to customers in the UK, Europe and the rest of the world.

Glenmuir is a brand right at the heart of golf. Preferred supplier to the European Ryder Cup team for 23 years, it is also lead vendor at Ryder Cup 2010. Glenmuir enjoys partnerships with the PGAs of Europe, The PGA, The European Tour, The Open Championship and The English Golf Union.
