Toro golf course equipment has been voted the best by course managers at Marriott Hotel and Country Club’s 11 UK sites.
Commenting on the renewal of a nine-year partnership agreement for another three years, Marriott Group senior course manager Kenny MacKay said, “We are delighted to have re-signed the deal with Toro and to continue our long association. All our course managers agree that Toro equipment is the best overall, and that the service and support is superb.
“The new deal will enable us to maintain the continuity of quality and care that we have always received from the company.”
Of the Marriott sites – which are owned by the Whitbread Group – St Pierre Hotel Golf & Country Club, in Chepstow, Monmouthshire has so far taken the largest delivery of new Toro equipment under the new contract.
Under the £1 million-plus new deal, Toro is providing operator and technical training, service and other back up, tournament support and new equipment demonstrations through its distributor Lely and its network of local dealers.
