Using its proprietary “revenue-based design model” and tapping its 40,000-square-foot studio, the Hoch team will revitalize the 8,000-square-foot space by designing and building furniture, fixtures and equipment. Using a classic theme rooted in traditional, “Grand Floridian” architecture and design, the remodel includes:

“Tom Hoch has an established track record of delivering revenue-driving results and memorable, functional interior spaces,” says Bob Barrett, CEO of Honours Golf. “The clubhouse will be well-positioned for the future and continue to serve as a centerpiece of the Slammer and Squire experience.”

Opened in 1998, Slammer and Squire was designed by Bobby Weed with heavy consultation from both Snead and Sarazen. Generous fairways mix with contoured greens and ample water hazards, and impressive views of the World Golf Hall of Fame are available throughout the layout. The course hosted the Champions Tour’s Liberty Mutual Legends, and numerous other high-profile events and tournaments.

“WorldGolfVillage and Slammer and Squire are cornerstones of the game’s past and present,” says Tom Hoch, president. “We look forward to carrying on, and building upon, their legacies.”

Other recent U.S. and internationally-based Tom Hoch projects include: Camelback Mountain Golf Club, (Carefree, Arizona); The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain (Marana, Arizona); The Members’ Golf Club at The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota (Florida); Farm Links Golf Club (Alabama); Renaissance Golf Club (Massachusetts); TPC Valencia (California); Zavidovo Golf and Lake Resort (Russia); and Tulsa Country Club (Oklahoma); multiple projects with Troon Golf; Apes Hill Club (Barbados); and The Abaco Club (Bahamas).
