The Grove selects eGolfScore as Official Scoring System

7.35am 3rd June 2009 - Corporate

eGolfScore UK, the leading provider of wireless scoring for individual golfers as well as corporate, celebrity and charity golf events has been named the Official Scoring System (OSS) for The Grove. Live scoring is now a built in component of The Grove’s corporate golf package.

“The Grove have worked with eGolfScore over the past few years, and I believe they truly have a world-class product and service. eGolfScore’s event wireless scoring system will add a unique dimension of entertainment to our golf events,” believes  Declan McCollam, Director of Golf, The Grove in Hertfordshire.

The Grove corporate golf guests experience real-time wireless scoring via handheld devices, big-screen TV leaderboards strategically placed at The Grove and worldwide Internet broadcast of their golf outings via eGolfScore’s popular View An Event Live section.

Internet leaderboards can also be placed on the golf clients’ web sites. Participant digital photographs (posted on the TV leaderboards and the Internet) and commemorative scorecards can further enhance the experience for all Grove guests.

“The Grove prides itself on enhancing and improving the golfer experience year after year,” said Declan. “With 100% client satisfaction as one of our top priorities, working closely with valued partners like eGolfScore certainly helps us deliver on our commitments to each and every corporate golf day held at The Grove.”

Julia Sturgeon, who is the golf co-ordinator at The Grove, said, “Although our corporate and charity events are already very special, eGolfScore will help to make that experience even more unique for all of our guests.”

“We’re very proud to be working with a first-class organisation like The Grove,” said Paul Fenton, Director eGolfScore UK. “We’ve been working with The Grove over the past few years and we’re thrilled to continue our relationship as their official scoring system which is built into their corporate package.” Fenton added, “We’re going to make sure every golfer at every The Grove is amazed by the eGolfScore Event Scoring Program experience.”

"Our eGolfScore UK team has done an outstanding job of continuing to grow the eGolfScore brand globally" said Joe Kaplan, co-founder and CEO of eGolfScore. "Golf courses that want to provide the best experience possible for their clients will greatly benefit from our system. We are excited about The Grove, and we look forward to building a long-term relationship with one of the United Kingdom‘s most prestigious golf courses."
