Boasting an international career path, Irishman Damian Murphy has a wealth of experience in a golf operations and management. Prior to joining The Bucket Pros, Damian has enjoyed success working in both Spain and the UK, developing his network and understanding within facility and asset management.
Having begun his career in Mijas, Damian has proven track record of creating change and developing facilities he has been a part of. His linguistics and knowledge of the industry created overseas opportunities including an operations position at The Grove.
More recently Damian has focussed his career within Spain working at Infinitum (previously Lumine Mediterranea Beach and Golf Community) and Aloha Golf Club. Holding positions within the management of golf operations, Damian has first-hand experience of how impactful The Bucket Pros methods and services are.
Through his innovative approach and high service levels Damian is joining The Bucket Pros as they continue to expand into Europe. His main focus will be on growing the portfolio of properties in Spain as well as focussing on the Portuguese market.
“Growing up in Spain has been fantastic and given me a key skill in being multi-lingual, said Murphy. It has also enabled me to develop a strong network, particularly in the Andalucía region, which I know will be vital for my position and The Bucket Pros expansion”.
My ambition for the coming months is to enhance the profile of The Bucket Pros within Spain and Portugal and bring their concepts to driving ranges and range operators. It is an exciting venture and I look forward to bringing the invaluable insight and ‘Boost Method’ practices to facilities in the region and showing them just how beneficial they can be.”
With a number of properties already working with The Bucket Pros in Europe, the success of the ‘Boost Method’ has already been achieved and will provide the framework of continued development for The Bucket Pros team and Damian in his new role.
