German golf course architects Christoph Städler and Achim Reinmuth have formed a new business partnership.
Golf course design firm ‘Städler Golf Courses’, an industry leader for more than three decades, is taking a significant step toward successful future development by welcoming Achim Reinmuth as a partner and co-principal under the new name of Städler & Reinmuth Golfdesign.
The previous sole principal Christoph Städler, who founded the practice in 1987, sees the upgrading of his long-time lead designer Achim Reinmuth as ensuring long-term continuity in servicing the firm’s extensive client base and future clients.
The two long-time EIGCA members and ‘Sustainable Design Leaders’ will continue to serve their clients with their expertise in the design of new golf courses and the renovation and improvement of existing golf courses as well as the associated outdoor facilities. To date, 54 new golf facilities have been completed to date and 132 existing golf courses have been renovated and upgraded.
Städler said: “Following the announcement of the partnership, we have already received numerous positive and encouraging feedback from colleagues and from prominent EIGCA industry partners. We are both looking forward to many new and interesting projects, as well as to the cooperation with many inspiring people from the golf industry.”
