Hiseman Partners, one of Europe’s leading golf marketing and PR agencies, has announced two new additions to its ever-expanding client list.
The Stamford, Lincs-based agency has been appointed to help SkyCaddie establish a foothold as Europe’s foremost golf course GPS rangefinder and will handle all on- and off-line advertising booking as well as creating and managing a full multi-media PR campaign.
St Enodoc, the famous Cornish golf course recently remodelled by former Walker Cup captain Peter McEvoy, is using Hiseman Partners to publicise its course improvements, manage a new photo-shoot with one of the UK’s leading golf course photographers and reinforce its ranking as one of the world’s top 100 courses.
Andy Hiseman, of Hiseman Partners, said, “From opposite ends of the sport we have a classic golf course, on many people’s World Top 100 lists, plus one of the game’s newest innovations. That sounds like an enjoyable recipe to me, and we‘re delighted to have been chosen by both new clients.”
Despite their differing characteristics, both projects have a shared goal of reaching new levels of popularity with golfers.
Jackie Hitchcock, MD of SkyCaddie’s European distributors, Skyhawke Technologies UK Ltd, said, “SkyCaddie has a range of world-beating golf course GPS rangefinders and as the market grows in popularity we want to establish the brand as the best for UK golfers.
“Hiseman Partners’ exceptional knowledge of the golf market, golfers’ needs and how to reach them effectively was important in our decision to appoint them as our agency. The SkyCaddie is innovative and exciting we wanted to work with a PR firm that shared our passion for innovative thinking.”
St Enodoc GC is regarded by many golfers as one of the world’s finest links courses, but maintaining its proudly-won reputation is increasingly difficult when faced with competition from multi-million pound developments from around the globe.
General Manager, Tuck Clagett, said, “Hiseman Partners will help us tell the world about the significant, but sympathetic improvements made to St Enodoc by Peter McEvoy. At the same time, Andy and his team will work with us to establish the South-west corner of England as the home of a truly world-class links course and increase its popularity with golfers from around the world.”
