Srixon and Cleveland Golf enjoyed great success at the Munich trade show – the brands’ first since joining forces as Srixon Sports Europe. Golf ball giants Srixon and wedge specialist Cleveland Golf joined forces last month, and used the Munich trade show to launch their united front.
Having given a real illustration of the ambitions of Srixon Sports Europe over the coming months, CEO Leslie Hepsworth admitted he was delighted with attention they received.
He said, “This show represented a real opportunity for us to announce our intentions to the golfing world, to highlight the desire of both Srixon and Cleveland Golf to move forward, and to show that we have the products to achieve this.
“We want to be number one ball and wedge in golf, and we will be boosting both marketing funds and support of tour pros to highlight how serious we are about our goals.”
Mr Hepsworth added that sales orders for both brands had far exceeded their expectations, and put them well under-way to reaching their very aggressive sales targets.
