SoftspikesSoftspikes®/PrideSports, the world’s best-selling golf cleat brand and maker of the #1 Cleat in Golf, claimed multiple victories this weekend. The Top 3 Finishers, including the winner of the Open Championship donned Softspikes®/PrideSports cleats in Scotland. Meanwhile, in the U.S. the PGA Tour and Web.com Tour events were won by players relying on Softspikes® cleats.

As 20 of the Top 26 finishers chose Softspikes®/PrideSports cleats at the Sanderson Farm Championship, the winner chose one of Softspikes’ most popular models, the Pulsar cleat. Pulsar features eight flexible legs with green friendly pads, and is an established favourite on and off Tour. The Midwest Championship also hosted 20 of the Top 28 finishers wearing Softspikes®/PrideSports cleats, including the winner in Cyclone Ice.

“This weekend held a lot of excitement for the players, the events and for our brand,” said John Hohman, Vice President of Marketing, PrideSports. “We congratulate the Winners across all tours and are proud to see them succeed in our cleats.”

Softspikes’ patented Dynamic Cleat Technology allows its cleats to be responsive to all terrains – Tee Boxes, Fairways, Roughs, Greens, etc – providing confidence on every swing of the club. In other words, longer drives, better iron shots and lower scores. For more information on Softspikes, please visit www.softspikeseurope.com

PrideSports was formed in January 2003 following Pride Manufacturing Company’s purchase of Softspikes, Inc., and its sister company Trisport, Ltd. of England. This acquisition essentially formed the world’s premier golf accessories company, as Pride and Softspikes are the world’s leading golf tee and golf cleat lines, respectively. Today, PrideSports is the world leader in the design and manufacture of cleats, spikes and receptacles for the entire golf footwear industry.
