Leading GPS, laser rangefinder and shot tracking brand Shot Scope has appointed Julie Benford appointed as a non-executive board director.
Benford has vast experience in the golf technology sector, most recently managing the golf category for Garmin UK & Ireland, where she handled the launch of the first ever GPS golf-specific wearable in 2010, and oversaw the product’s rise to being multimillion-dollar market leader at the time.
David Hunter, Shot Scope’s CEO, said: “Julie is a fantastic asset to both the board and the wider Shot Scope team. We are delighted that she has chosen to join the board and help the company through global expansion. Her knowledge and understanding of the distance measuring device space is invaluable, and we look forward to utilising her industry insight.”

Shot Scope will be exhibiting at the PGA Show in Orlando from January 25-27 where it will showcasing its latest range of GPS, laser rangefinder and shot tracking products to the media and attendees at booth 2231.
