Red Door Golf Simulator

During the last few weeks Red Door Events based in Windsor Berkshire has supported major golfing events being hosted in the UK.

With IMG, O2 and support from Callaway Golf, Red Door Events attended Golf Live at Stoke Park Golf Club and reported a very successful event.

The Red Door golf simulator was well used by the attending golfing public to test their skills on a closest the pin event, while the short hole used was one from the course itself which has been created by Sports Coach Systems especially for the event.

Red Door Events provided the golf simulator and a putting simulator which was supported by O2 in one of the many bubbles outside the main exhibition area. This again was well used with the public trying some of the latest range of Odyssey putters.

Following Golf Live, Red Door moved from the golf course into the City of London to help promote the 2010 Ryder Cup to be held at Celtic Manor this coming September.

Using the Red Door golf simulator the 18th hole at the Celtic Manor 2010 course was chosen for a long driving event which tested the golfers in Broadgate against the golfers in Canary Wharf the following day where the average length of drive was calculated to find a winning team.

A long putt (80ft) challenge was also put in place to cater for the non golfers to have some fun.

Event organisers who which like to know more about this type of support can ring Red Door Events on 0870 435 0218 and speak to Graham Pickup to discuss their project. www.reddoorevents.co.uk
