ProLink Solutions has announced that it has partnered with Total News Golf to install the ProLink system at upscale golf courses and resorts throughout South America.

Based in Buenos Aires, Total News Golf operates Argentina’s most-visited golf web site – www.totalnewsgolf.com Under the agreement, Total News Golf will install and service ProLink’s GPS system at golf courses and resorts in countries including Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Paraguay, Uruguay and Chile.

Total News Golf and ProLink will partner on the advertising platform on ProLink-installed courses throughout the continent.

Golf’s popularity is growing rapidly across South America, with nearly 600 courses in operation and more than 135 under construction.

The continent is blessed with ideal weather, spectacular scenery and a variety of terrain perfectly suited to golf. Argentina, which boasts more golfers and courses than any other South American nation, has garnered the international spotlight as the home of 2007 U.S. Open champion Angel Cabrera, 2008 U.S. Senior Open champ Eduardo Romero, and PGA TOUR winner Andres Romero.

“The opportunity to partner with a global golf leader such as ProLink Solutions is an exciting development for our company,” says Martin Aguilar, general manager of Total News Golf. “ProLink’s reputation for outstanding technology and support are unsurpassed, and the golfers of South America will appreciate the system’s many benefits. Courses and resorts will also embrace ProLink’s revenue-generating functions as an integral part of their business. We anticipate facilities in South America adopting the system at a rapid pace.”

ProLink’s system is now featured at more than 700 golf properties on five continents. More than 550 of these courses are equipped with media-ready systems to support on-screen advertisements worldwide.
