Players 1st enters into a partnership with the Spanish Golf Federation

1.14pm 10th May 2021 - Corporate

Players 1st has added Spain to the growing list of countries around the world using its market-leading customer experience management platform.

Players 1st and the Spanish Golf Federation and the Association of Golf Courses in Spain have entered into a partnership to promote the use of Players 1st in Spanish golf clubs.
Registered clubs will have access to the Players 1st platform which provides an effective way to measure members’ and guest’ experiences across the club. From the intuitive results dashboard, clubs will have the insights to recognise what is most important to their customers and develop effective strategies to improve their services to ensure maximum retention and attraction of new guests and members.

The collaboration means that RFEG and AECG will actively market Players 1st to golf clubs across the region. As in all other countries where Players 1st operate, Players 1st will provide the RFEG and AECG with data analysis and provide insights into player experiences to support the future development of golf in Spain.

The agreement between RFEG, AECG and Players 1st has been underway for some time, however the affects from covid-19 put a temporary pause on the rollout. Confident that the timings are now right, all parties are feeling optimistic for the cooperation and looking forward to the imminent launch. “We see the collaboration with Players 1st as a very important part of the clubs’ future development to ensure the best possible conditions for their members and guests”, says Xavi Guibelalde Folch, Marketing Director from RFEG. He went on to say, “Players 1st has proven in multiple markets that their platform provides clubs a completely unique basis for developing the club in a direction so that retention and attraction of members and guests is optimized.”

Morten Bisgaard, CEO of Players 1st, said: “Spain is an important golf market, both domestically and for international visitors, and we look forward to supporting the development of these clubs. Our agreement with RFEG and AECG is based on similar agreements with federations and other key players in several other countries. It is a privilege to have this agreement in place and the collaboration further strengthens our position as a global market leader within tools for measuring and following up on the players’ experiences in the clubs.”

As of today, any Spanish club who registers across 2021, will receive a six-month free trial subscription to the Players 1st platform. Interested clubs can sign up here: https://app.players1st.sport/sign-up/esgolf
