PGA partners with F&B purchasing group Entegra

8.02am 3rd November 2022 - Corporate

The PGA of Great Britain & Ireland has announced a new commercial partnership with Entegra, the largest food and beverage group purchasing organisation in the world.

Entegra was established in 1999 to help businesses with F&B facilities, such as golf clubs, to buy more efficiently and source the best products at the lowest unit prices.

With a portfolio of more than 200 national, regional and local suppliers, PGA Members and their affiliated clubs can tap into Entegra’s £710m purchasing power and save money on everything their business needs, from F&B to supplies and equipment.

Entegra understands the golf market and work with a wide range of golf clubs, including Carden Park, Murrayshall, Fairmont St Andrews, Forest of Arden, Bowood, Slaley Hall, Lambourne Golf Club and Bovey Castle.

Stephen Beech, Entegra’s Managing Director UK & Ireland, said: “Entegra is extremely proud to partner with The PGA and we are looking forward to supporting PGA Members and their golf facilities.

“Our partnership means instant access for all PGA Members to Entegra’s range of food and beverage procurement solutions, providing great profit protection as well as insights into market trends and product availability.

“PGA Members will directly benefit from our breadth of experience and resources to deliver negotiated pricing in consolidated baskets, which are traditionally only available to our fully partnered hospitality businesses looking to leverage greater buying power.”

Richard Barker, PGA Executive Director – Business Development, commented: “We believe this new partnership will be a great benefit to PGA Members and their golf facilities. Entegra consolidate hundreds of thousands of orders and negotiate the lowest unit price directly from brands, such as Coca-Cola, and deliver that saving back to the individual businesses. This offers big savings for PGA Members and their golf facilities and provides peace of mind in the knowledge that their F&B is in safe hands through a well-respected and globally recognised buying group company.”
