First Data securely powers 2,800 transactions per second for more than six million businesses around the world, from start-ups to the world’s largest corporations. This new deal is an expansion of First Data’s long-term relationship with the PGA.

New preferential rates apply to all PGA Members, including members who are existing First Data clients.

Those taking up this offer for the first time can also benefit from receiving up to £150 cash back to assist in any cancellation fees with their current payment provider.

In addition, new customers will benefit from a card terminal hardware offer priced at £1 a month for three months with no set up or minimum monthly fees. This offer is exclusive for PGA Members.

Commenting on becoming a PGA Official Supplier for the next three years and the improved deal for its Members, First Data’s head of sales, Russell Jones said: “We’re delighted to be an Official Supplier to the PGA.

“It’s a partnership that enables us to come up with preferential rates and special offers to PGA members. Through the partnership, we can continue to help PGA Members and the organisations the Association supports.”

Hamish Ferguson, PGA executive director, commercial, added: “The PGA is thrilled to be working closely with First Data, a world leader in its field. It’s important for us to work closely with businesses that share similar values in helping PGA Professionals and I’m sure many of our Members will benefit from the preferential terms and services offered by First Data.”
