Open Golf Club celebrates Convention at Le Golf du Médoc Resort

The Open Golf Club welcomed more than 70 golf directors from 7 countries as providers and experts benefited from presentations about revenue management, new marketing tools and brainstorming sessions about how to get and retain new members.

The 2019 Convention was held at the Golf du Médoc Resort near Bordeaux and was honored by the participation of Jean-Lou Charron, President of the French Golf Federation (FFG), and Aurelien Didier. They have made an initial assessment of the 2018 Ryder Cup effects for the golf industry in France.

The Convention made time to say goodbye to Hervé Decléty who has decided to take a well-deserved retirement. Throughout these last years, he has been the perfect organiser and master of ceremony at Open Golf Club tournaments. Open Golf Club wishes Hervé a happy retirement surrounded by his family.
