On Wednesday 26th March 2014 GreenMech opened the doors of their headquarters and manufacturing facility in Alcester, Warwickshire to an assembly of dealers and customers.

Spring was certainly in the air at 10.00am when the event kicked off with a warm welcome from Sales Director Martin Lucas.  The programme commenced with a factory tour of the manufacturing process by Martin and his sales team, with the GreenMech production team on hand to answer questions.

Tim Willis, Grounds Maintenance Supervisor at South Gloucester Council, was particularly impressed at seeing the manufacturing process being made all by hand. “The quality of the build is most impressive,” he said, “As a potential buyer, I feel confident that nothing will have been missed on the finished product – I’ve found it to be a very worthwhile day spent.”

After a break for lunch the guests were given the opportunity to watch a wide range of product demonstrations of the company’s wood chippers in action. A lucky few even got to try their hand at chipping themselves. One of those being Andrew Mills, of Andrew Mills Tree Surgeon and Sons.

“I currently run an Arb150 which I have no problems with,” he said, “however, coming here today has opened my eyes to the workmanship that goes into a GreenMech product.” So impressed was he of the quality of the build that he decided to add an ArbTrak 150 to his fleet by placing an order, with his local dealer Brian Beddoes, on the spot!

After a very busy day Martin rounded up proceedings by saying, “It was a pleasure for all of us at GreenMech to open our doors to you, our dealers and customers both existing and new.  We pride ourselves on taking feedback from the end users and implementing these comments in our future product designs.  We got some useful input today and hope to put these into practice as soon as we can.”
