New putter from Cobra

8.30am 14th August 2006 - Corporate

Cobra has unveiled an addition to the King Cobra range – the King Cobra Optica SL Series Putters designed for golfers seeking mallet style design with superior alignment and feel.
The Optica SL Putters have been designed to deliver exceptional alignment, feel and a consistent true roll. The key to improved alignment lies in the use of an exclusive Tru-Glo fibre optic sight line across the top of the putter head. This helps ensure square alignment and set-up accuracy, which allows golfers to line up putts with a new level of precision.
Premium tri-material construction combined with Winn Custom grips and True Temper shafts enables the Optica SL putters to deliver forgiveness, confidence and ultimately fewer putts. The multi-material construction of the Optica SL putters, with a forged aluminium body, forged steel weight bar and soft urethane body, offers improved putting performance. The aluminium body provides soft feel, which is further enhanced by the vibration dampening qualities of the soft urethane inner body.
Heel-toe weighting is maximised thanks to the forged steel weight bar, which boosts stability and creates a high moment of inertia. The face itself is constructed from milled aluminium that delivers soft feel and a precise true roll.
There are two models in the range, the heel-shafted SL-01 and the centre-shafted SL-02, both of which feature the fibre optic TruGlo sight line alignment technology.
Available in right hand only, the Optica SL-01 and Optica SL-02 have a suggested retail price of £133.
