The compact-folding M1 PRO trolley from Motocaddy was crowned golf’s ‘Most Innovative Product’ at the 2013 Foremost Golf Awards ceremony held at the Majestic Hotel in Harrogate on Wednesday night (Wednesday 9 October).

Foremost Golf group members – many of whom were present at the ceremony and attending the annual Golf Show – placed the M1 PRO ahead of several other successful golf products launched this year, including TaylorMade’s SLDR driver and Nike’s Covert woods.

“Winning the product innovation award from Foremost Group members in the face of such outstanding competition is a great honour for Motocaddy,” said Chairman David Wells. “The M1 PRO has been our most successful trolley launch with sales more than 30% above forecast, but this confirms that our retail partners are right behind the product and we’d like to thank them for their continued support.”

The M1 PRO trolley has transformed the way golfers travel to and from the course, thanks to an innovative design that allows it to be folded 40% smaller than previous Motocaddy models. It has also retained the brand’s trademark performance benefits, including the patented USB port to charge GPS devices.

Motocaddy’s S1 PRO trolley was also recognised at the ceremony – hosted by BBC presenter Andrew Cotter – for its exceptional performance in 2013, picking up the Foremost Golf ‘Electric Trolley of the Year’ prize.
