New look for Cottesmore Golf Club

Cottesmore Golf & Country Club has undergone an extensive makeover thanks to an investment in excess of £40,000 by operator, Crown Golf.

The Crawley-based club now has a new relocated an improved pro shop for members and visitors, while business users are benefiting from new projector equipment and wireless internet in the updated conference rooms.

The refurbishment has also seen the creation of a new reception area, new carpets, chairs and blinds in the Country Club restaurant, and new flooring in the Barn Room and Buchan Suite function and conference rooms.

Nathan Miller, general manager at Cottesmore Golf & Country Club, said, “The new, relocated pro shop has given us a lot more space, allowing us to offer more products ready for the new season and increase the number of lines we stock, particularly for ladies.

“The recent work on the golf shop and clubhouse is the latest in a number of improvements at the club including the introduction of our GPS golf buggies and course improvements which are continuing to be carried out.

“We have had excellent feedback on the quality of the course this year, and by keeping it in tip-top condition we are ensuring Cottesmore remains one of the leading courses in the south of England.”

To celebrate the completion of the refurbishment work, Cottesmore Golf & Country Club is offering businesses and organisations a 50 percent discount on conference room hire, valid until March 31st 2008.

With work on the club building now complete, the hotel rooms at Cottesmore Golf & Country Club are now undergoing a programme of redecoration.

Cottesmore boasts two challenging 18-hole courses, excellent practice facilities and tuition and equipment hire in addition to a 21-room hotel, bar and restaurant, fitness centre and pool, and four function rooms perfect for social functions and conferences.
