Motocaddy is providing a major boost to trolley sales in the lead-up to Christmas by introducing its strongest ever free bag promotion, running for just over eight weeks.
Between November 2 and December 31, any golfer purchasing a Motocaddy S-Series trolley – S1, S1 Dhc, S3 Pro, S5 Connect, S5 Connect Dhc and the S7 Remote, with a lithium battery can claim a free Motocaddy golf bag worth up to £199.99. In addition, the brand is also providing an extra gift to golfers by offering £50 off the price of its S3 Pro and S5 Connect models during the promotion.
“Last year, our Christmas promotion was credited in lifting electric trolleys sales in the UK to their highest ever level during a single month, and we’re confident of replicating those numbers or going higher this time around,” said Sales Director Neil Parker. “We know the lead up to the festive period is an extremely important time of year for our retail partners and extending the promotion, with our strongest ever offer, will help them maximise sales even further.”
He added: ”We were the first trolley brand to introduce a free bag promotion back in 2008 and since then we’ve enjoyed enormous success in running promotions at key selling periods,” added Parker. “We’ve made the claim process incredibly simple to allow retailers to focus on selling the trolley and we will handle the free bag,” he added.
The new promotion is being backed by a major marketing campaign featuring extensive point of sale material, email campaigns and prominent consumer advertising in both print and digital media.
“As always, we’re ensuring a wide-range of selling tools are available to support our trade customers during this important time of year,” said Motocaddy marketing manager Oliver Churcher. “Our new website makes the claims process easier than ever, so golfers can be out on the course with a new trolley and bag even quicker.
Following the purchase of a new Motocaddy S-Series Lithium trolley, golfers simply register the claim on the brand’s website. Once the claim has been verified, a free bag is sent direct to their chosen address.
