A Crown Golf initiative to promote its Group-wide ‘Just Play’ card, giving discounted green fees and improved booking rights at 25 of its golf clubs, proved successful last weekend, with over six hundred new Just Play members gained.
Following the success, Crown Golf has announced that the promotion will be making a quick reappearance, over the forthcoming May Bank Holiday Weekend, from Friday 3rd to Monday 6th May.
The promotion, on offer at nine of the group’s clubs, grants a free round of golf to every golfer who takes up a new Crown Golf Just Play membership during the valid period. The golfer takes the free round at the course where he or she bought the Just Play card, on the day of purchase.
The participating clubs are Addington Court, Pine Ridge and Traditions in Surrey; Blue Mountain in Berkshire; South Essex, Stapleford Abbotts and The Priors in Essex; Sunbury in Middlesex; and Paultons in Hampshire..
“Just Play is clearly attractive to a lot of non-club golfers” said Crown Golf Operations Director Rob Climas. “It pays for itself after very few rounds of golf – and even more so, if you join it during the promotional period.”
Just Play costs the golfer £34.99 per year, and gives £6 off standard green fee rates at participating Crown Golf clubs, seven days a week. Members also receive £2 off Twilight and Early Bird rates; they have a 12-day booking window at the club where they bought their Just Play card; and a 7-day booking window at all other clubs.
